The man who smiled

When an old friend asks Inspector Kurt Wallander to investigate the suspicious death of his father, the depressed detective initially refuses, until the friend himself is murdered shortly thereafter. Wallander returns from sick leave and soon encounters a wall of silence surrounding a powerful, wealthy philanthropist who always smiles kindly. Behind this charming facade, Wallander discovers an ice-cold network of illegal organ trafficking and large-scale fraud, where the perpetrator stops at nothing to keep his secret.
