Hip hip hooray for Akkerwoude - The freebooters of Akkerwoude H de Roos

The book revolves around a group of enthusiastic and enterprising village children. There's big news in the village, as there's something to celebrate that will fully involve the youth. The children experience all sorts of typical 'De Roos adventures': they play pranks, build huts in the forest, and, just like the Kameleon twins, try to help the adults in the village (and sometimes tease them a little).

When unexpected problems or small mysteries arise in the area, the children join forces to solve them. Thanks to their ingenuity and mutual solidarity, everything works out, allowing the entire village to proudly exclaim: "Hip, hip, hooray for Akkerwoude!"
