The Kameleon Crew - H de Roos

Cover and illustrations by Pol Dom. Hielke and Sietse, the twin sons of blacksmith Klinkhamer, live in the village of Lenten. The village is located by a large lake where the most beautiful boats sail. The twins want nothing more than to go sailing themselves. That wish comes true when one day an old tugboat strands in the canal behind the forge. After persistent urging from the boys, Klinkhamer takes over the old boat from its owner. Later, when the village is hit by a tornado, the boys rescue the doctor from his car that has fallen into the water. As a thank you, the doctor gives the damaged car to the boys, who install the engine in their boat. This gives them a powerful motorboat that is just as good as the fastest speedboat. The adventure can begin, but not before the boat has a name.
